As soon as I saw Louise Penny on the latest cover of Good Times, I dived right in. I’ve read all of her books, and it’s impossible for me to pick a favourite. Her characters and writing are so charming and memorable. I grew up 100 kilometres from Knowlton, and reading about familiar areas makes it that much more enjoyable. I love her honesty in the article, and she is a very welcome inspiration, both in her books and as a person.
