Let’s Take Our Time
Let’s not just hurry through life;
Let’s take our time.
Let’s smell all the flowers.
Let’s read every rhyme.
We could hold hands more often.
We could walk in the park.
We could sing songs of love.
We could gaze at stars in the dark.
Let’s visit our dearest friends.
Let’s take a long drive.
Let’s fly in a hot-air balloon.
Let’s just be alive.
We could relish sunsets waning.
We could go on a train ride.
We could sit by the ocean;
We could enjoy the tide.
Let’s watch the breeze in the trees.
Let’s listen to the birds call.
Let’s sit by an open fire.
Let’s do nothing at all.
We could dance in the rain.
We could hug a lot more.
We could take a long trip.
We could stop and explore.
Let’s not just hurry through life;
Let’s take our time.
Let’s hold loved ones close today.
Let’s make our own rhyme.
