A New Year’s Promise
I wake up full of hope crisp and bright,
My dreams come alive in the morning’s light.
Blank pages stretch, smooth and wide,
Hints of promise swell with pride.
I whisper my resolutions soft and low,
Seeds of change I promise to sow.
Yesterday’s doubts slip away,
Dawn unveils a shining day.
I hear gentle footsteps on delicate snow,
Fresh winds hum where wild seeds grow.
Past burdens fade like twilight’s hue.
Every heartbeat chants “Begin anew.”
