Two New Starships Join the Fleet
In 2027, Emerald Cruises will expand to eleven European Starships with the debut of Emerald Nova on the Douro and Emerald Lumi on the Seine:
- Emerald Nova will sail alongside Emerald Radiance, offering extended Douro itineraries and two sailing options. With capacity for 110 guests, Nova brings modern design and increased flexibility to the region.
- Emerald Lumi is purpose-built for the Seine, enabling direct access to sought-after ports including Paris, Rouen and Honfleur. Its custom design supports seamless exploration of northern France’s charming riverside towns.
A Longer Season, More Time to Explore
Select itineraries now feature additional overnight stays and later departures, giving guests extra time to enjoy evenings ashore and immerse themselves in local culture. Emerald Cruises’ extended sailing season—with February, March, October, November and December departures—opens opportunities for quieter travel periods, seasonal scenery and festive Christmas market voyages.
